Demonstration sites

The aim of the demonstration sites is to compare the management that is usually carried out without taking climate change into account with an alternative management that anticipates future changes. Within the framework of the REINFFORCE project, 41 sites have been set up in order to anticipate the reaction of the stands. On each of these sites, we find a control plot with so-called “usual management” alongside a plot with adaptive management. Most of these sites have monitoring equipment and climatic references.
